Detained Taliban Suspects Said To Be Planning Hotel Bombing

Pakistani police have arrested six suspected Taliban insurgents in the eastern city of Lahore, Pakistan's Dawn reports.

A would-be suicide bomber was among those detained on Monday, Pakistani security officials said.

The suspects planned to target U.S. nationals staying at a five-star hotel, said a Pakistani investigator.

Police said they also recovered one suicide jacket, 26 hand grenades, drugs and explosives from the scene.
