South Korean and U.S. military officials are working on plans for a new combined command that will stand up when Seoul reassumes wartime operational control of its forces, reports the Yonhap news agency, citing South Koreandefense officials.
The finalized plan is expected to be approved during the annual bilateral military committee meeting and security consultative meeting later this month, the South Korean Defense Ministry said on Thursday.
