Destroyer To Visit Oman, U.A.E. During Middle East Deployment

A Japanese destroyer headed to the Middle East for a maritime security mission will make port calls in Oman and the United Arab Emirates, reports the Asahi Shimbun.

The port calls have not been officially announced. The destroyer Takanami is likely to stop at Fujairah in the U.A.E. and Salalah in Oman, said unnamed government officials.
