Destroyer Set To Participate In NATO Training In Atlantic

A Russian destroyer has arrived in Norfolk, Va., for a visit ahead of a joint training exercise with NATO ships in the North Atlantic starting later this week, reports RIA Novosti.

The Admiral Chabanenko and rescue tug Shakhter will participate in the FRUKUS exercises from June 23 to June 30.

The annual drills, named after participants France, Russia, U.K. and U.S., are focused on interoperability in anti-piracy missions.
