Destroyer Lawrence Completes Super Trials In Gulf Of Mexico

Northrop Grumman says the Navy's newest Arleigh Burke-class destroyer has completed a combined super trial in the Gulf of Mexico.
The success of the tests for the William P. Lawrence (DDG-110) paves the way for her delivery to the Navy in the next six weeks.
The testing that ended last week involved the ship's weapons, communications and propulsion systems, as well as inspections of her habitability, water purification and food preparation systems.
