Destroyer Heads For Syrian Port

A Russian destroyer plans to take part in military exercises off the coast of Syria after docking at the Syrian port of Tartus, reports RIA Novosti.
The Smetlivvy guided-missile destroyer left its homeport of Sevastopol on April 1 and will operate in the western Mediterranean region until the end of May, a naval source said.
The warship will take on supplied at the Russian-leased port in Tartus, said the source.
