The destroyer USS Fitzgerald (DDG-62) has completed dry dock repairs following a deadly collision with a merchant ship in 2017, reports the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
The Fitzgerald left the dry dock at the Huntington Ingalls shipyard in Pascagoula, Miss., on April 16 after undergoing extensive repairs since January 2018, said a NAVSEA release.
