The U.S. and U.K. have just completed their first joint naval exercise in the South China Sea, reports the South China Morning Post.
The destroyer USS McCampbell and frigate HMS Argyll have been training together since Jan. 11, said a U.S. Navy release. The exercise concluded on Wednesday.
The drills covered communication, division tactics and personnel exchanges to enhance interoperability and address maritime security issues.
