Kurmanbek Bakiyev, the deposed president of Kyrgyzstan, has raised the possibility of ceding power to the interim government, Reuters reports.
He fled the capital of Bishkek on April 7 when opposition protesters seized government buildings.
Bakiyev attached several conditions to his possible resignation, including a guarantee of safety for him and his family and a promised new election in two to three months.
