International monitors have been forced to duck for cover from government fire, according to witnesses cited in several accounts.
The U.N. monitors in Syria on Wednesday witnessed government forces shooting at protesters in a Damascus suburb, say activists cited by the Los Angeles Times.
At least 20 protesters were injured in Arbeen on Wednesday and a U.N. vehicle was damaged, activists said.
