Demining System Handed Over By U.S.

The U.S. government has donated a demining vehicle to Tajikistan, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).
The Mini MineWolf vehicle is designed to clear minefields without requiring further verification, according to a release from the U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe.
Tajikistan has 243 minefields established during the Soviet era along its borders with Afghanistan and China as well as during the civil war in the 1990s.
