Delivery Starts For Puma Infantry Vehicles

German defense firm Rheinmetall, in cooperation with Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, has announced the delivery of the first two production Puma infantry fighting vehicles to the German defense procurement agency BWB in Kassel.
The vehicles are scheduled for government performance and verification testing, including extreme summer and winter trials abroad, officials said.
Under a 3.1 billion euro (US$4.1 billion) contract signed in July 2009, Germany ordered 405 Puma vehicles
