The U.K. Ministry of Defense says that delivery of Warthog armored vehicles to the British army in Afghanistan is behind schedule, Defense News reports.
More than 110 Warthogs were ordered from Singapore Technologies Kinetics in a 2008 deal valued at 150 million pounds ($230 million).
Prime Minister Gordon Brown promised last year he would speed up delivery of the vehicles to better protect the troops, with the vehicles scheduled to replace the BAE Systems Viking Mk1 vehicles...
