The state Rosoboronexport arms-export agency in Russia says it has delivered an initial batch of Su-30MK2 fighters to Vietnam, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).
The first four aircraft were delivered recently and are now being assembled, said company officials at the Paris Air Show.
Vietnam ordered 12 Su-30s from Russia in a US$1 billion deal last year. Hanoi already operates four of those fighters.
