Delivery Of 3rd C-27J Completes Transport Order

The Lithuanian armed forces took delivery this week of its third C-27J Spartan transport at the Siauliai Military Airport, reports the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense.

Lithuania ordered three C-27Js from Alenia Aeronautica in Italy under a 75 million euro contract (US$111 million) in June 2006.

The first aircraft was delivered in late 2006, and the second in December 2008.
