Russian arms export agency Rosoboronexport has delivered the first three of 12 Mi-35M assault helicopters to Brazil, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).
The helicopters were turned over to the Brazilian air force during a ceremony at the Porto Velho air base.
The first batch of pilots has also completed training under the contract, said a Rosoboronexport spokesman.
Brazil ordered the helicopters in 2008.
