Top officials from Australia and India have agreed to boost defense ties between the nations in a number of areas, reports the Times of India.
Australian Defense Minister Kevin Andrews made a visit to India last week to discuss strengthening ties.
An agreement was reached on details for their first ever bilateral naval exercise off of Visakhapatnam on India's east coast.
