Defense Spending Jumps By 64 Percent In 5 Years

Bolivian defense spending has increased more than 120 percent over the last 10 years, reports Mercopress (Uruguay), citing Bolivian media reports.
According to an account in El Deber (Santa Cruz), the defense budget has increased 64 percent during President Evo Morales' term in office over the last five years.
The 2011 budget is more than US$287 million.
