South Korea has made plans to install nighttime surveillance equipment along its border with North Korea, reports the Yonhap news agency (Seoul).
A supplemental budget submitted to the legislature covers improvement in surveillance, the Defense Ministry said on Wednesday, as reported by UPI.
Monitoring equipment, including thermal closed-circuit television cameras, will be installed at general army posts in the demilitarized zone, said the ministry.
