The Estonian Defense Ministry has decided to increase the number of conscripts for military service to 4,000, reports the Baltic Times.
Estonia has mandatory military service for physically and mentally healthy male citizens. However, only about one-third of young men from a particular cohort year actually serve, Defense Minister Juri Luik told lawmakers.
