The Lithuanian Ministry of Defense wants to boost the size of the military contingent in Afghanistan, reports the Baltic Times.
If approved by Parliament, the ministry would increase its deployment to 50 personnel, rather than the previously planned 20.
The move is related to the decision by the U.S. and other NATO allies to keep more troops in Afghanistan, reported the Baltic News Service.
