The South Korean Defense Ministry hopes to accelerate the deployment of its planned missile defense systems, reports the Yonhap news agency (Seoul).
The ministry in its 2016 budget proposal has allocated US$703 million for the Korean Air and Missile Defense (KAMD) and Kill Chain systems, which are supposed to be completed in the early 2020s, according to a ministry release on Wednesday.
