Defense Ministry Looks Into Death Of Top Adviser

The Tajik Ministry of Defense says it will investigate the death of a senior adviser to the defense minister in a car accident in Dushanbe, the Tajik capital, reports Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.

Zarif Sharifzoda, a former chief of the General Staff and deputy defense minister, was killed in an apparent car accident on Wednesday, said the Asia-Plus news agency (Tajikistan).

According to preliminary information, Sharifzoda was driving the car and suffered a heart attack...
