Turkey's top defense procurement body has approved plans to order a second batch of F-35 Lightning II fighters, reports Defense News.
The Defense Industry Executive Committee (SSIK), which includes Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, Defense Minister Fikri Isik and army Gen. Hulusi Akar, the General Staff chief, discussed 12 different defense programs during the meeting on Oct. 28.
