Defense Ministry Eyes New Indigenous Fighter Jets With Stealth Capabilities

The Taiwanese Ministry of National Defense says it will develop a new indigenous fighter with stealth capabilities, reports the Taipei Times.
The aircraft project is part of the government's policy to develop Taiwan's domestic defense industry, Defense Minister Fen Shih-kuan told reporters on Monday.
The new fighter is expected to be a twin-engine design developed with indigenous technology.
