Defense Ministry Denies Testing S-500 Air Defense System In Syria

The Russian Defense Ministry has denied reports that it has been testing its latest air defense system in Syria, reports Russia's Sputnik news agency.
Russia's Izvestia newspaper reported on Wednesday that the advanced S-500 air defense system was recently tested in Syria, citing defense ministry sources.
Russian defense officials said that problems were identified but quickly fixed during the tests.
