Defense Ministry Criticizes U.S. FONOP In Sea Of Japan

The Russian Defense Ministry says a U.S. Navy ship violated Russian waters in the Sea of Japan, reports the Tass news agency (Moscow).
On Tuesday, the destroyer USS John S. McCain crossed about 1.5 miles (2 km) into Russian territorial waters in the Peter the Great Gulf, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The Russian destroyer Admiral Vinogradov responded to the incursion and warned the McCain to return to international waters.
