Defense chiefs from Japan and South Korea say they will formalize an agreement on the exchange of military supplies by the end of the year, reports the Asahi Shimbun (Japan).
Japanese Defense Minister Toshimi Kitazawa met Monday in Seoul with his counterpart Kim Kwan-jin. They agreed to begin discussions on an acquisition and cross-servicing agreement (ACSA) between the two militaries.
