Defense Minister Thomas de Maiziere has established 11 groups to work on various elements of his reform program for the German military, reports Defense News.
Each group is expected to operate independently, but a steering committee will control the process as well as the task force on structural reform.
The projects will have to make decisions by the fall, when de Maiziere plans to present the final concept, he said on June 10.
