Defense Minister Shows Off New Liquid-Fueled Rocket

Defense Minister Brig. Gen. Ahmad Vahidi announced that Iran has test-fired its latest surface-to-surface missiles, reports Iran's semi-official Fars News Agency.
Footage of the test was shown on state television, reported Pakistan's Dawn.
The Qiam 1 (Farsi for "Rising") is a domestically designed and built liquid-fueled missile, Vahidi said.
The missile features an intelligent navigation system, which makes it harder to intercept, the general said.
