Defense Minister Fined For Taking Party Members On Official Flight

South African Defense Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula has been sanctioned after she used a military aircraft for partisan political business, reports the Eyewitness News (South Africa).

On Sept. 26, President Cyril Ramaphosa docked Mapisa-Nqakula of three months' pay, with the funds to go toward South Africa's fight against the novel coronavirus.
