Poland is considering buying surplus Hawk trainers from the Finnish air force, reports the Finnish Broadcasting Co.
Defense Minister Bogdan Klich discussed the issue during a visit to Finland last week.
Poland would like to buy 16 trainers by the end of the year.
Finland has 65 Hawk trainers in its inventory, some of which are excess after a failed effort to establish an international air combat school in Kauhava.
