Defense Minister Demands U.S. End Use Of Drone Base In Southwest

The defense minister has called on the United States to vacate a remote air base in Pakistan's southwest used to launch armed drones, reports the Voice of America News.
On Wednesday, Ahmed Mukhtar said he had urged the U.S. to leave the Shamsi air base in Baluchistan province.
Some U.S. officials have said there are no U.S. military personnel at the site.
