Russia and Italy have decided to hold joint naval and land drills next year, RIA Novosti reports.
The locations and time of the exercise will be announced later, said a Russian Defense Ministry spokeswoman on Friday.
An agreement to hold the drills was reached during the seventh round of Russian-Italian meetings in the Black Sea resort of Sochi, she said.
