Estonia's paramilitary Defense League scheduled a three-day exercise in Haapsalu on the nation's west coast over the past weekend, reports Estonian Public Radio.
The planned scenario of the Orkaan (Hurricane) drills involved around 600 volunteers defending "an object of national importance," according to a Defense League district commander.
Infantry, light artillery and paratrooper components were set to take part in operations in the town's harbor, airport and streets.
