Poland and Rwanda have signed an agreement to boost defense industry cooperation, reports the New Times (Kigali).

Polish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pawel Jablonski signed the pact with Rwandan Defense Minister Maj. Gen. Albert Murasira on Monday during a three-day visit to Rwanda.

The ministers also discussed strengthening defense cooperation.

During talks with Foreign Minister Vincent Biruta, Jablonski also reportedly signed agreements between universities in both countries and investment agencies.

Jablonksi said that Poland would soon set up an embassy in Kigali as part of growing bilateral relations.
