Defense Cuts Expected To Total $4.8 Billion Over 3 Years

French officials say the government will cut defense spending by 3.6 billion euros ($4.8 billion) over the next three years, Defense News reports.
The effects on national security should be "very limited" due to receipts from the sale of property and digital frequencies, government officials said.
