Defense Chief Names New Leaders For Army, Navy

The Canadian military is about to get several new senior leaders, reports CBC News.

Gen. Jonathan Vance, the defense chief, announced the departure of seven officers on Tuesday.

Vice Adm. Mark Norma, the navy chief, will succeed Lt. Gen. Guy Thibault as vice chief of the defense staff. Thibault is retiring after three years in the post, according to a release from the Canadian Dept. of National Defense.
