Defense Agency Seeks Development Of FANG Vehicle

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has awarded the Ricardo company of Belleville, Mich., a contract to develop a new amphibious fighting vehicle, reports the Dept. of Defense.
The 12-month, $9.8 million contract covers research and development under the FANG (fast, adaptable next-generation ground) vehicle program.
The deal includes two more one-year options that would bring the total contract value to $27.6 million.
