The German Defense Ministry says it will reactivate eight decommissioned military storage facilities to support growing missions and an expanding force reports Xinhua, China’s state-run news agency.
A more dangerous security environment will increase storage requirements for spare parts and operating materials for the armed forces, the ministry said on Tuesday.
Under the plan, five of the facilities would be used for military equipment and three for ammunition.
