The U.K. Ministry of Defense is offering to sell the decommissioned British aircraft carrier Invincible, reports London's Daily Telegraph.
The warship served in the Royal Navy from 1973 to 2005. She underwent a major refit in 2004, but was retired the following year under the condition that she could be reactivated within 18 months.
Invincible's engines, pumps and gear boxes were gradually cannibalized for use in other ships.
