The number killed in Sunday's suicide car bomb attack on a military base in Afghanistan has reached 33, reports Al Jazeera (Qatar).
The attack took place at a roadblock near the entrant to Camp Chapman in Khost province, said police. Earlier reports said there were 18 deaths.
Camp Chapman, formerly a CIA base, hosts Afghan was well as foreign troops. A NATO statement said it was "aware" of the explosion.
