Death Reported Of Uzbek Islamist Leader

The senior leader of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU) was reportedly killed in a U.S. drone strike in northwest Pakistan in late August, Pakistani officials said, as cited by Agence France-Presse.
IMU leader Tahir Yuldashev had a $5 million U.S. bounty on his head.
The militant was seriously wounded in a missile strike in the last week of August in the Sararogha district of South Waziristan, said a Pakistani official. He reportedly died thereafter.
