Deal Signed For 17 More F-35s, Bringing Total To 50

Israel has finalized a deal with Lockheed Martin for 17 more F-35A Lightning II stealthy fighters, reports the Times of Israel.
Thirty-three had already been ordered, noted AFP.
The latest procurement, which will bring the Israeli fleet to 50 jets, was approved by the security Cabinet in November 2016.
The contract was signed on Sunday, according to the Israeli Defense Ministry.
The first 33 F-35s are scheduled to be delivered by 2021. Five have already been delivered....
