Ecuadorian President Lenin Moreno has agreed to restore fuel subsidies for the poor as part of a deal to end two weeks of violent protests, reports Reuters.
The deal was announced on Sunday following a meeting with leaders of the Confederation of Indigenous Nations (CONAIE), which played a large role in mobilizing opposition to the law.
