The French and German governments have reached an agreement on joint weapons exports, reports Agence France-Presse.
On Wednesday, French President Emmanuel Macron announced the deal following a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Toulouse in southwestern France.
Under the agreement, Germany will have the right to veto arms exports if German components make up more than 20 percent of a system, diplomatic sources told Deutsche Presse-Agentur.
