Deal Inked With Norwegian Firm For Winter Fuel Needs

Estonian energy firm Eesti Gaas says it has finalized a contract with Norwegian energy group Equinor for liquefied natural gas (LNG) for the upcoming winter.

The 300 million euro (US$303 million) deal covers 2 TWh of LNG for Estonia’s heating needs this winter, reported Estonian Public Radio.

The gas is scheduled to be delivered at the Klaipeda LNG terminal in Lithuania in October and November, Eesti Gaas said in a Tuesday release.
