Deal Inked With Israel For Air Defense Radars

The Czech Republic has finalized an agreement with Israel for new air defense radars, reports the Times of Israel.

On Thursday, Israeli and Czech officials signed a US$125 million contract for eight ELM-2084 multimission radars in Prague.

The radars will be delivered between 2021 and 2023.

The acquisition fulfills a key modernization requirement for the Czech air defense force, said Czech Defense Minister Lubomir Metnar.
