Deal Inked For C-295 Transport

The Ivory Coast Defense Ministry has finalized a contract for a single C-295 medium transport aircraft, reports the manufacturer, Airbus.

Ivory Coast will be the 18th African country, and 28th around the world, to operate the C-295, which has proven its capabilities in the harsh sub-Saharan Africa operating environment, said Airbus officials.
