Deal Finalized For Another Batch Of T-90S Tanks From Russia

New Delhi has awarded a contract for the local production of T-90S tanks after reaching an agreement with Russia on technology transfer, reports Defense News.

Russian arms export agency Rosoboronexport and India’s state-owned Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) signed a contract in November.

Under the agreement, Rosoboronexport will receive US$1.2 billion, paid in rubles, to cover technology transfer, while OFB will be paid US$1.92 billion for the manufacturing of 464 T-90S tanks.
